High Efficiency “Tortuous” Flowpath Catalytic Core
The DIESELYTIC SX™ Exhaust Gas Purifier features a unique "tortuous" flowpath catalytic core. The “tortuous” flowpath catalytic core incorporates a curved, mixed flow cell design which takes advantage of the physical properties of diesel particulate matter. The collision of particulate matter with the catalytic surface is vigorously promoted and concentrated to provide maximum reductions of soluble particulate.
High Quality Catalytic Coating
The DIESELYTIC SX™ Exhaust Gas Purifier core is coated with high quality precious metals and superior grade washcoats. The high quality, uniform core coating provides high efficiency removal (oxidation) of harmful pollutants by up to 90%+. The quality of the catalytic coating is particularly evident in low temperature performance during engine cold-start or in the case of light duty vehicles. In addition, the high quality coating ensures a long and reliable operating life even in the most adverse conditions.

SXS-CX Catalyst Coated Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filter
Best suited for 1996 and newer medium to heavy duty engine applications where average exhaust gas temperatures exceed 320+ degrees Celsius for 20%+ of engine operating time. The SXS-CX catalyst coated diesel particulate filters provide a relatively slow regeneration over unit time. Initial costs of catalyst coated wall flow diesel particulate filters are relatively high in comparison to other technologies. However catalyst coated wall flow diesel particulate filters ase passive in operation and require minimal maintenance.
SXS-B/FA Washcoated Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filter Used With Fuel Additive
Best suited for 1994 and newer medium/heavy-duty applications where exhaust gas temperatures are in the range of 300+ degrees Celsius for 20%+ of the engine operating time. The washcoated wall flow diesel particulate filter with fuel additive provides a relatively fast, low stress regeneration over unit time. Initial costs of the washcoated wall flow diesel particulate filters with fuel additives are moderate in comparison to catalyst coated wall flow diesel particulate filters. Washcoated wall flow diesel particulate filters are passive in operation and require a moderate amount of maintenance. Fuel additives must be manually added to the diesel equipment fuel tank every time the fuel tank is re-filled.
SXS-B Uncoated Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filter
Best suited for 1994 and newer light/medium duty applications where continuous engine operation does not exceed 8 to 12 hours. Oversized configurations are available where continuous operation can exceed 24 to 36+ hours. The SXS-B uncoated wall flow particulate filters are not passive in operation and must be manually regenerated. The SXS-B filters can be regenerated by removing the filter from the vehicle and baking it in a programmable computer controlled kiln. Initial costs of the SXS-B uncoated wall flow particulate filters are moderate in comparison to catalyst coated wall flow diesel particulate filters. The SXS-B filters require a high amount of maintenance to remove, regenerate and reinstall the filters on a periodic basis.
SXS-B/E Uncoated Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filter With Electical Regeneration
Best suited for 1994 and newer light/medium duty applications where continuous engine operation does not exceed 8 to 12 hours. Oversized configurations are available where continuous operation can exceed 24 to 36+ hours. The SXS-B/E uncoated wall flow particulate filters are not passive in operation and must be manually regenerated. The SXS-B/E filters can be regenerated (when the engine is shut down) by attaching an electrical regeneration device to the inlet cone of the particulate filter. The filter does not have to be removed from the vehicle. Filter regeneration requires about 25 to 35 minutes. Initial costs of the SXS-B/E uncoated wall flow particulate filters are comparable to catalyst coated wall flow diesel particulate filters. However, the electrical regeneration device can regenerate many filter, so costs per DPF filter are minimal. SXS-B/E uncoated wall flow particulate filters require a moderate amount of maintenance to install the regeneration device and regenerate the DPF filters on a periodic basis.
Exhaust Gas Purifiers For Gasoline, Natural Gas And LPG Engines
The GASPRO SXV/SXT™ Catalytic Exhaust Gas Purifiers reduce high concentrations of exhaust pollutants in gasoline, natural gas and LPG engines. They are offered in catalytic converter and catalytic muffler configuration.
The GASPRO SXV™ purifiers utilize an oxidation catalyst capable of removing emissions of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons. The GASPRO SXT™ purifiers are three-way catalysts which, in addition to carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, control nitrogen oxides emissions.
Fume diluters mix the exhaust gases with quantities of ambient air. They can reduce local concentrations of pollutants in the proximity of vehicle, project the exhaust gases away from the vehicle and lower the temperature of discharged exhaust gases.
