Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC)
Catalytic converters for diesel engines, available in several standard sizes. High reductions of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in diesel exhaust. Significant reduction of particulate emissions through the elimination of the organic portion of diesel particulates.

Catalytic mufflers—direct-fit replacement of original mufflers incorporating DOC and 3-Way catalyst to control engine exhaust emissions.

Active Diesel Particulate Filters (ADPF)
The Nett Vorteq™ is an active diesel particulate filter system designed to control particulate emissions from diesel engines in on-road, non-road and stationary applications irrespective of their exhaust gas temperature.

The system uses a diesel fuel burner to heat and oxidize the particulate matter (soot) that accumulates on a silicon carbide or cordierite particulate filter monolith.

A computerized monitoring system evaluates the level of soot in the filter and triggers regeneration (automatic mode) or alerts the machine operator (manual mode) when soot needs to be burned off. In both modes, the regeneration occurs during periods when the engine is idling.

 

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
The Nett BlueMAX™ family of urea-SCR systems are designed to control the emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) from medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines in on-road, non-road and stationary applications.

In the SCR technology, NOx is reduced over the SCR catalyst through chemical reaction with a reducing agent, such as ammonia or urea.

For safe and easy handling, the BlueMAX™ system uses urea solutions also known as diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or AdBlue.

Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)
Diesel particulate filters utilize “wall-flow” monoliths made of cordierite or silicon carbide to provide high, typically over 90% reduction of particulate mass emissions and 99% reductions in particle number emissions.

In passively regenerated filters, the substrate is coated with a catalyst to lower the soot combustion temperature. The accumulated soot is oxidized in the filter during regular operation of the engine. Exhaust temperatures of 275-300°C for 25-30% of the operation time are necessary for proper filter regeneration, if ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel is used. Nett filters can be also used with fuels of higher sulfur content, however, higher exhaust temperatures are required for regeneration.

The Nett GreenTRAP™ DPF is a California Air Resources Board (ARB) verified passive diesel particulate filter for stationary applications. The GreenTRAP™ reduces emissions of diesel PM consistent with a Level 3 device—greater than or equal to 85% reduction, while meeting the ARB requirements for NO2 emissions.
