We Sponsor the 2005 DEER Conference: Our group is a privately held technology company with two plants in Detroit and Jackson, Michigan. Doubletree Tech is a technology licensor of GREENPOWER™ Trap-Muffler system with its licensed distributor established in Japan. IntMET imports, exports, distributes ceramic filters, catalysts and fuel-oil additives and also assembles Trap-Muffler system for DPF Retrofit markets overseas. In Japan, where the NOx-PM law is enforced for the in-use diesel vehicles, we are getting a lot of attention due to the system's unique ability to reduce both NOx and PM from diesel exhausts. And GREENPOWER™ system manufactured by IntMET is now undergoing the durability test required for the Certification by the Japanese Authority.

NOx-PM Reduction: A fuel borne catalyst (FBC)-based Diesel Particulate Filter technology is avilable for diesel passenger cars in Europe. In the USA, Dr. Julius Rim of IntMET-Doubletree Tech has patented a similar but more advanced FBC-based DPF process that reduces not only PM but also NOx, while enhancing an engine-lubrication efficiency. This unique technology has been perfected in our latest patent to utilize water vapor in diesel engine combustion mechanism to maximize the NOx reduction and saves diesel fuel.

Test results with our GREENPOWER™ trap system in Tokyo, Japan, confirmed the reduction of NOx and PM, 50% and 90%, respectively, with the water vapor addition into engine at the rate of up to 20% diesel fuel consumed (read more...).

GREENPOWER™ system is now available for the technology licensing and joint/venture development for both Retrofit and OEM markets.
