Since 1983 Air Testing Services operated by ESW America Inc., is providing consulting and emissions certification testing for internal combustion engine manufacturers and users. This state-of-the-art testing laboratory is recognized as being capable of performing engine emissions verification test protocols by both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
The new 40,000 sq. ft. Tech Center houses the engine/vehicle emission testing, certification and verification division featuring eight dedicated engine and vehicle dynamometer cells. The facility also incorporates the Company’s Research and Development division, responsible for the further development of our current as well as new technologies.
The test engineers and technicians on staff offer a professional level of skill and competence with over 50 years of combined experience in the industry. They work closely with EPA and CARB to help customers achieve the desired engine, vehicle or device certification levels.
Test facilities, equipments and procedures employed by Air Testing Services for emissions certification testing, comply with the US-EPA Exhaust Emissions Testing Procedures as specified in the US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 40-Part 86, all other sections and applicable subsections).
The laboratory is equipped to perform exhaust emissions and particulate measurement and analysis as well as determine fuel economy of motor vehicles and internal combustion engines. The facility is able to provide a broad range of test protocols for Diesel, Gasoline, CNG and LPG fuels.
ESW offers custom accelerated aging test schedule for emission control technologies, and has employed specialized equipment and expertise required to determine mass emissions (hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen and particulate matter).
