Cummins engine T3 certification

Postby veeve_2009 on Thu Mar 22, 2012 3:17 am

Hi all,

I got a Cummins QSC engine for off road equipment. I understood it is a Tier 3/Euro IIIA standard engine. However the local environmental department request a poof for that is a T3 engine. How can I get the proof?

That depends where you are. If the engine has been emission certified by the US EPA, it should have a label with emission information. If there is no label, only the engine manufacturer knows what was the emission level.
