New paper: Turbocharger Bearings

We've added a new Technology Guide paper on Turbocharge Bearings, a critical component of the turbocharger that affects its durability and reliability.

The paper covers journal bearings, including both fully-floating and semi-floating journal bearings, as well as ball bearings, the other type of bearing systems in commercial turbochargers. Several other potential bearing technologies have seen development activity for application to turbocharger bearing systems. Among these, the paper covers foil air bearings and active magnetic bearings.

The paper includes 7 figures, 10 pages when printed.
