Regional Sales Manager for a Major OEM

Krishnan & Associates, a recruiting and placement firm specialized in the automotive and power industries, is seeking two senior regional sales managers with machine, engine or emissions experience. These individuals will support OEM dealers and district personnel with products and services to meet the needs of customers requiring retrofit of existing OEM products to meet local stringent emissions requirements. They will be primarily responsible for advancing emissions solutions products to include engine repowers, DPFs, DOCs, and other emission reduction technologies for in-use machine and engine applications. One position will be based in California and the other in the Midwestern US. Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Promoting diesel retrofit concepts and solutions with key customers, dealers, and regulators
- Pursue local and regional business opportunities for emissions retrofit projects
- Assist in developing regional marketing plans working with local dealer and district personnel
- Serving as the regional expert on regulatory needs and product solutions
- Influencing state grants and funding opportunities for emissions retrofit
- Development of dealer capabilities with training and business planning
The successful candidate will possess bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental health or marketing or have equivalent work experience of 5-15 years. A broad business background is required along with strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills. Previous field or dealer contact experience is desired.
