Job Description
The successful candidate will manage Heavy Duty Diesel Emission Systems demonstration and test programs with organizations other than BASF and its direct customers. The candidate is expected to interact effectively with other scientists, engine lab personnel, application engineers, and the commercial organization within the corporation. Frequent interaction with governmental agencies, trade organizations, and customers will also be required.
Qualifications
PhD degree with no experience, MS degree with 2 years experience, or a BS degree with 3-5 years experience. The degree is preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering, although related fields will be considered with appropriate experience. Data analysis skill is crucial. Electronics, computer programming and process control skills are valuable. Must have the ability to write cogent written reports and effectively transmit oral results. BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
