John Deere Construction and Forestry is seeking a Product Engineer to design and develop new hydraulic components and systems for skid steer loaders. In this position, you will:
- Be part of a cross functional team that is responsible for the design, cost, quality and reliability of hydraulic components/systems in new product programs.
- Travel to customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
Education
- Four year degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with hydraulic components.
- 2+ years Product engineering experience.
- 2+ years experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
- Experience with a 3-D modeling tool such as Pro/E.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in hydraulic systems design.
- Experience with ProPiping.
- Familiarity with a hydraulic modeling package such as Easy5.
- Electrical/electronics experience.
- Experience with construction equipment and related engineering principles.
- Experience working with customers and end users.
