The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Environmental Protection Department of the Government of The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region organize an In-Use Vehicle Emissions Control Technology Workshop 2000 (IVECT 2000). The workshop will be held on September 18-19, 2000 at the Jockey Club Auditorium, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.
The objective of the workshop is to share the worldwide experience in emission control technologies from in-use motor vehicles. In particular, the workshop will provide an opportunity to:
- Share IVECT information from worldwide countries,
- Share experience of developing practical schemes to reduce motor vehicle emissions among regulators,
- Share technological development of vehicle emissions control among academic, professional and practitioners,
- Arise trade awareness on ways to reduce in-use motor vehicle emissions.
