The following table summarizes the composition of common fatty oils used in the production of (mono alkyl ester) biodiesel [1391]. The designation Ca:b is used to describe the fatty acid molecules where a is the chain length in carbon atoms and b is the number of unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds.
