What is the Business Directory?

DieselNet Business Directory is a comprehensive listing of suppliers for all products and services related to emissions. Because of the overlap in technology, the directory is not limited to diesel engines but includes products and services pertaining to emissions from all internal combustion engines. The companies in the directory are grouped into categories, such as “Engines”, “Engine & Emission Test Equipment”, “Research Laboratories”, etc.

Can my company get listed in the directory?

Yes, provided your business is related to emissions from internal combustion engines. Please fill in our listing form and, if you meet our criteria, your company will be added under the appropriate category in the Business Directory. The free standard listing includes your company name, mailing address, telephone, and fax number. A link to your web site may be included in the listing, provided you linked to DieselNet from your pages.

Customized directory listings are available in the form of DieselNet Business Pages. See the Sponsorship section for more information on our Business Pages.

How does the “request information” button work?

button imageCustom listings in the Directory (or DieselNet Business Pages) include a “request information” button at the bottom of the respective page. That button serves the same function as Readers Reply Cards in printed magazines but it is much faster. After you click the button, a simple form will pop up in a separate browser window. You can fill in your contact information including the mailing address, telephone, etc., as well as your specific comments (e.g., “Please mail product literature on the Turbo Widgets”). After you click the “Submit Request” button the information is forwarded by e-mail, automatically and directly, to the respective product supplier. None of the information you submitted is recorded or kept on file on DieselNet server.
